Clan History: The Uchiha clan descended from Indra, the elder of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. Indra inherited the Sage's "eyes", powerful chakra and spiritual energies. When it came time for the Sage to choose a successor, he questioned the two on what course of action they would follow to bring order to the world. Indra believed that power was the way to bring peace, while Asura, the younger son, believed love was the way. The Sage favoured Asura's ideal, and therefore designated him as his successor, causing Indra to be filled with jealousy and hatred. From this hate came what Tobi calls the Curse of Hatred (憎しみの呪い, Nikushimi no Noroi). From Asura descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha. However, the Uchiha suffered another more dangerous curse: a passionate love that can become a bottomless well of despair the moment the one they care for most is dead.
Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan as well as battle prowess, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the other being the Senju clan. Madara Uchiha was particularly powerful, and, upon attaining the Mangekyō Sharingan, took control of the clan. Under his leadership the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju, and vice versa.
Sometime before Konoha's founding, some members of the Uchiha clan began to willingly surrender, realizing that they were outclassed by the Senju. The Senju later grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty once again. Though rejected time and time before as Madara feared that an alliance would destroy the Uchiha clan, he willingly accepted after witnessing Hashirama's resolve. The two clans came together to form Konoha, with Hashirama Senju, leader of the Senju clan, being selected as Hokage. Madara believed that this was proof that the Uchiha would be made subservient to the Senju, but his clan saw this only as his attempt to rekindle the flames of war. They turned their backs on him, and he defected.
Following Madara's betrayal, having gone into hiding after faking his death in the battle against Hashirama, the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju gave the Uchiha control of the Konoha Military Police Force as a sign of trust. However, this was really just a way of keeping the Uchiha's emotions in check so the village would not end up with another Madara. Over the years, some Uchiha, such as Setsuna Uchiha, came to realise their ostracism and believed that they were being purposely kept out of Konoha's governing affairs. Though Setsuna and his followers tried to rebel against the village as Madara did, they found that it was too late to make a difference, as the Senju had already completely suppressed the Uchiha. Despite Tobirama's attempts, it only caused a greater rift between the Uchiha and the village. The matter grew worse when a young Obito Uchiha, presumed dead at the time, witnessed the death of Rin and became a follower of Madara's ideals.
Years later, after the Nine-Tails' Attack on Konoha, Konoha's elders began to suspect that an Uchiha was behind the attack because of their ability to control the Nine-Tails with their Sharingan. Tobi stated that the clan was forced to live in a corner of the village, ostracised from the rest of the community, and placed under heavy surveillance. This gave birth to ill-will amongst the clan and the Uchiha interpreted this as confirmation of what Madara had warned them of years earlier, and began to plan overthrowing the village. Itachi disagreed with his father's coup d'état plan, and informed Konoha's leadership of what the Uchiha were up to. Shisui Uchiha, who had been told to keep an eye on his best friend Itachi also disagreed with the clan's plan and joined Itachi in his mission to put a stop to it. He attempted to use the ability of his Mangekyō Sharingan: Kotoamatsukami to Danzō from committing the genocide, but once again, Danzō — determined to protect the village the only way he saw possible — stole Shisui's right eye from him. Saddened that he had failed to stop Danzō, Shisui met with Itachi and gave him his left eye before the elder came after it as well, telling him to protect the village and the name of the Uchiha. The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi who had disagreed with the treatment the Uchiha were receiving, tried to negotiate for a more peaceful solution, but as time passed and that strategy seemed to be getting them nowhere, Danzō took matters into his own hands and inveigled Itachi to commit the genocide with threat of his clan's actions creating another war and innocent children, such as his little brother, becoming a casualty.
Within one night, the entire clan was slaughtered with only one known Uchiha left alive: Itachi's younger brother, Sasuke. Sasuke would spend the next few years trying to avenge their family by killing Itachi, something Itachi had planned from the very beginning. After accomplishing this goal, Sasuke learned of Tobi's existence. Tobi, who is in fact Obito Uchiha, another survivor of the clan who was also the one behind the Nine-Tails' attack, told Sasuke about the Uchiha's history and why Itachi had wiped out the Uchiha, prompting Sasuke, with Obito's help, to resolve to destroy Konoha. Sasuke would later be shown the truth by Itachi himself after he was reincarnated.
Following the genocide of the clan, there were three survivors: Obito — then believed to be Madara, Itachi and his younger brother Sasuke whom the former spared from the killing.
Although before the massacre, Madara survived his battle with Hashirama, despite what was widely believed, and kept himself alive with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path as a life support. He rescued Obito from what appeared to be his death, and would later corroborate with him to carry out his Eye of the Moon Plan.
Ultimately, Itachi died at the hands of his brother — the way he had intended, and Obito seemingly succumbed to the effects of being forced to use the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive Madara; Kakashi Hatake noted that he can no longer sense Obito's consciousness. However, his life was stabilised by Black Zetsu merging with his being, right up until Madara confronted him in Kamui's Dimension and seemingly ended his life. Madara stabbed Sasuke in the heart, and according to Karin and Tobirama Senju, they could no longer sense his chakra, inferring he died as well. Despite this, Sasuke was saved later by Kabuto.

Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan
Kekkei Genkai Description: The Sharingan, literally meaning "Copy Wheel Eye", is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai, which appears in to some members of the Uchiha clan. The sharingan holds several stages, each one stronger than the previous one, obtained through continued use and training, up to a maximum of three (tomoes). As the Sharingan evolves, the user gains heightened abilities and a growing mastery over their KG. Each tomoe must be gained through a time of extreme emotional stress - WITH ACTUAL PLAYERS, NOT NPCs - generally a real fear of the death of oneself or a loved one or a reaction to a loved one dying in an unnatural manner, with a word count accompanying the awakening of each tomoe.

Abilities:
These abilities, however, grow stronger as the user himself grows stronger, increasing with his rank and mastery over the KG:

1 tomoe Sharingan:
This type of Sharingan has 1 tomoe surrounding the users pupil and is gained at the moment of awakening the Sharingan. It allows the user to perceive motions 1 rank above theirs and see chakra. The user's pupil turns bloody red, and gains an extra pupil, or tomoe within each eye that will surround the original, centered pupil. When active the user now has the ability to track speeds that would only be seen by a higher ranked, more experienced ninja. They also gain the ability to see through visual D rank genjutsu (visual illusions) and can follow the movement of most taijutsu moves done by normal Shinobi, even those faster than the user and the movement of most Ninjutsu, allowing one to be able to react best to the situation. This tomoe requires 2,000 words to unlock.

Tomoe 1, when activated, increases your Perception Stat by 1 RANK. This caps at SS-3. (If you have C-3 Perception and you activate your sharingan then you will have B-3 Perception for the duration).


2 tomoe Sharingan
It allows the user to perceive motions as well as be able to copy the motions perceived as long as he is able to perform them physically. When activated the user's eyes turn blood red, and gain two extra pupils, the tomoe which surrounds the original pupil. At this level the user gains a better understanding of the sharingan. The user can now anticipate and analyze faster movement - 2 ranks above theirs - as well as mimic minor movements made by an opponent. The user can now track higher speeds (almost twice as fast) and, by reading the handseals, can predict to some extent the use of Ninjutsu techniques (but will always obey and abide by the time frame rule as he can never start performing a counter/move before the opponent has started his, meaning that there will always be a logical sequence of moves that will obey the time frame). The user is now able to pierce through visual C rank genjutsu and below. This tomoe requires 4,000

Tomoe 2, when activated, increases your Perception Stat by 2 RANKS. This caps at SS-3. (If you have C-3 Perception and you activate your sharingan then you will have A-3 Perception for the duration).

3 tomoe Sharingan:
This is type of Sharingan has 3 tomoe. It allows the user to perceive motions, copy the motions perceived, and predict motions 3 ranks above the user. (An example of this is during the fight between Sasuke and Naruto at the Valley of the End. Sasuke could perceive Naruto's motions, copy them, and then predict what Naruto was going to do next. Essentially, to Sasuke through use of his Sharingan, it looked like Naruto was going in slow motion.) When active the user now has the ability to keep up with extremely high speeds and mimic basic taijutsu/kenjutsu exactly. With this the user can now copy handseals done by an opponent (using the adequate Copy Technique), and use jutsus as they do as long as he's able to perform them (having the adequate chakra nature, adequate knowledge of the field of expertise being copied, etc). The user must however be able to mimic the techniques, for if they are not physically able to preform the copied techniques they cannot do them. The user can now pierce through visual B rank genjutsu and below. Unlike the previous two sharingan stages this level has the ability to hypnotize a target. If however the target has (PER) above that of the user's, the hypnotizing with be ineffective. This can only be done on targets with the (PER) of the user and below, through eye contact [Requires Genjutsu as a specialization]. The user will be able to keep it active until the end of the match as long as he has chakra and stamina for it. However, after some time, they'll be able to gain full mastery over the KG and gain the ability to activate it passively. they'll need to have gained 3T for one month. This tomoe requires 6,000 words to unlock.

Mangekyo and Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan
The Mangekyo Sharingan, literally meaning "Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the second highest known form of Sharingan (the first being Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan), feared by many as one of the strongest KG of the Ninja World. The appearance of the pupil drastically changes, differentiating from the normal tomoe seals, with the MS's shape differing from user to user. When active the user can track speeds even further beyond that of the third stage sharingan. The timing of the users counters, the chaining speed of multiple techniques and the ability to see through the enemy's moves greatly increases. Not only that but the user gains the ability to see through visual genjutsu A rank and below. The link to Genjutsu is further increased and, if the user has gained full mastery over Genjutsu, they gain the ability to cast any and every genjutsu without the need for eye contact but through a simple point of the finger. Also, the Mangekyo Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques, unique to each user. Extended use of the Mangekyo Sharingan after some time, deteriorates the user's eyesight to the point of blindness. Slowly while the MS is activated the pupils start to bleed, fact which appears to be painful. Once the side effects of it's use take place, complete blindness will come in a matter of time. While the user is capable of keeping their MS active for a limited amount of turns, they can only activate it twice per thread. Not only that, but each use of MS techniques reduces the duration of the active time of their MS. This level requires 8,000 words to unlock, as well as the death of one person close to you IC [Must be another PC]
Having MS or EMS automatically boosts your Perception stat to SSS-1 when activated!

Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan:
The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning "Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye," is the highest known form of Sharingan, said to be feared as the strongest doujutsu. The appearance of the pupil drastically changes, differing from the users original MS pupil and takes on the shape that combines both his and anothers MS pupils. When active the user can track speeds even further beyond that of the MS, even those with faster (SPD) than them. The timing of the users counters, the chaining speed of multiple techniques and the ability to see through the enemy's moves greatly increase even beyond the levels of MS. Not only that but the user gains the ability to see through visual genjutsu S rank and below. The link to Genjutsu is further increased and, if the user has gained full mastery over Genjutsu, they gain the ability to cast any and every genjutsu without the need for Handseals as long as they has a clear line of sight to the target. Also, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan gives the user access to the same powerful and forbidden techniques availabe to the user through his MS and even the ones of the implanted MS. They will, however, not suffer any damage or decrease in his EMS activation time limit through the use of these techniques.
Having MS or EMS automatically boosts your Perception stat to SSS-1 when activated! It also automatically unlocks your Tomoe to 3 Tomoe

To gain EMS, it must be transplanted by an IC medic from another PC. A period of 3 threads to heal must pass before EMS can be used. The person you are seeing die must be someone with whom you have had 50+ RP interaction posts with.

Drawbacks: While you are allowed to start off as a Uchiha for your first character, your application will be held to higher quality than those of your fellow peers. This means that anyone creating an Uchiha must double the word count of their entire application in order to be approved:

This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user, allowing them to see the image of an attacker's next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body and counter-attack or dodge without any wasted movement. If the element used in the jutsu is not one of the user's elements, then the user must pay 1.5 times the normal amount of chakra to use the jutsu. It is distinguished from a normal Sharingan by its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user with all known wielders of the dōjutsu having eyes that resemble variations of pinwheels. It has been used to cast genjutsu on tailed beasts, even as fearsome as Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Over time, use of the Mangekyō Sharingan's techniques deteriorates the user's eyesight to the point of blindness, a harsh fate for those that have grown accustomed to the power and visual acuity it affords. The Mangekyō Sharingan is awakened through the trauma experienced from the death of a person very close to the Sharingan user. With the user normally having to witness or experience this first hand, Uchiha throughout history have killed those closest to them in order to expedite this process. To obtain the Mangekyō Sharingan, one must feel the emotion of losing a friend or family, as merely killing them or watching them die will not activate it.

Description: The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan (永遠の万華鏡写輪眼, Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan) is a permanent version of the Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan.
Over time, use of the Mangekyō Sharingan's techniques deteriorates the user's eyesight to the point of blindness. Only by taking and transplanting the eyes of another Uchiha clan member can the vision be restored, a process that results in the creation of an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The tighter the blood ties are between the "donor" and the receiver, the better it is for compatibility, siblings for example. The time from fusing the donor's Mangekyō with the receiver's Mangekyō to the point of full recovery is at least several days (in the case of Sasuke.) Not only does this process permanently restore one's eyesight, but it also gives the person even greater power. The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan also changes form from the original, with what appears to be a fusion of the current owner's Mangekyō with the previous owner's.

Over time, use of the Mangekyō Sharingan's techniques deteriorates the user's eyesight to the point of blindness. Only by taking and transplanting the eyes of another Uchiha clan member can the vision be restored, a process that results in the creation of an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The tighter the blood ties are between the "donor" and the receiver, the better it is for compatibility, siblings for example. The time from fusing the donor's Mangekyō with the receiver's Mangekyō to the point of full recovery is at least several days in the case of Sasuke. Not only does this process permanently restore one's eyesight, but it also gives the person even greater power. The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan also changes form from the original, with what appears to be a fusion of the current owner's Mangekyō with the previous owner's.
